Kennedy Pope John XXIII Memorabilia
Submitted by Chris:
Just going through some old boxes and have found a commemorative ceramic tile for John Kennedy’s meeting with the Pope John XXlll. I think this meeting did not take place as John XXlll died on June 2nd 1963. The President did go on to meet Paul Xl early in July of the same year. The tile measures 150mm x 75mm and is in reasonable condition, it has never been mounted. It has a small chip on the top left corner and some sort of paint on the right edge which I am sure could be removed.
If you can help Chris with information on the value of this item please click on the comment button. Thanks!

Presidential Cups
Submitted by Harlene:
Greetings!
I have 4 white/cream colored hard plastic cups with the seal of the President of The United States on one and the seal of The Vice President of the United States on the three others. I have been told they are from the 1970's. I purchased them at an estate sale near Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. I would interested to know their value?

Kennedy White House Key FOB?
Submitted by Anne:
I recently found under the car mat of an old 1961 Lincoln sedan. A preliminary search turned up nothing but to be honest, I'm not very well versed in American political anything so when I came across your site, I wondered if you could be of assistance. Have you ever come across a key fob like this ? What was it a key fob for (other than keys)? What was it issued for? Is it even politically related or was there a hotel called The Whitehouse ?

Pentagon Papers Scandal Button
Submitted by Deyna:
I have in my possession a very rare button from the New York Times Washington Bureau, circulated at the time of the Pentagon Paper scandal. Button reads:
FREE The Times XXII. I worked at the Detroit Free Press at the time, and was given this button as a gift. The front of the button is in perfect shape. The back interior some small spots of rust.
Can you please help me?

John F Kennedy Bust
Submitted by Stephanie:
I have an old JFK bust that I have unsuccessfully searched for information on for years. The bust is solid marble, I believe and the base is wood. It is about 11 inches tall. Do you have any information on this bust, or an estimated value? I just took a close look at the bust and cannot find any kind of marking. But, I have just noticed that the wooden base may have been added to the bust. It looks like it may have been glued onto the top portion, and not be original to the bust. The base is nice, but there is visible glue and the fit to the base of the bust is not perfect. I'm not an expert, though. so it could have been made this way. The top of the bust is what I assume is marble, in an ivory color, and very heavy. I don't know if busts were made of actual ivory, but it almost feels like it could be made of ivory, if not marble.

Spiro Agnew Nixon Button
Submitted by Jeff:
"Aggies" is the nickname for Texas A&M University. Maroon is the A&M school color. A&M students and alums are rabid collectors of all kinds of aggie memorabilia, and I haven't seen any of this particular button for sale. I'm the original owner, and I believe it's from the 68 campaign when I was still in college in Texas, but it might be the 72 campaign. 2 1/4" Diameter. Excellent condition with some age wear on edges as shown in the picture. Back has some evidence of light wear but no rust and very shiny, pin is like new
If you can help Jeff value this item, please click on the comment button. thanks!

Woodrow Wilson Poster
Submitted by Lynn:
We have recently acquired the Woodrow Wilson campaign poster shown in the attached photos, and have been trying to authenticate it. We have inspected the poster and there are no markings/stamps/dates/etc on it. The only text is what you see in the photos under President Wilson's photo. Obviously, if it is authentic, it would have been from the 1912 Presidential Election, since the poster states that he is "Governor of New Jersey" at the time.
If you can help Lynn identify and value this item please click on the comment button.
