George Washington Banner
Submitted by Randy:
This has forty five stars which corresponds with 1896 (120 Celebration) and number of states. It looks like it is printed on a very fine cloth. It does have water stains and age spots. Someone put it in a blue frame. It looks authentic but I am not an expert. Please tell me what you think. I could not find a similar one on the internet Thanks.

Nixon Agew "Divided We Fall" Medallion
Submitted by Dana:
Over the summer I had stopped at an estate sale and purchased a jewelry box in which I had found a bronze presidential medallion. The medallion is a raised impression of Nixon, with the name Spiro on the side. At the bottom it says, "Divided we fall". There is so stamping or signature to know the make or where it came from. I've done some research and can't find anything that is even similar to it, so I was hoping you could help. Attached are photos of the medallion.

Lester Maddox Autographed Campaign Sign
Submitted by Dan:
1966 autographed "Maddox Country" campaign sign for former Georgia Governor Lester Maddox. Ga's most recognized political icon and the archetype of Ga's racist businessman, according to the media. He edged out 3rd place finisher, rival Jimmy Carter, in the Democratic Primary before the democratically controller Ga Legislataure gave him the nod over the Repubican nominee for Governor in 1966. He was called the bicycle riding backwoods backward yahoo who tacked up these exact signs in his gubernatorial bid. He always claimed that states rights not racism motivated his refusal to serve blacks @ his infamous Pickrick Restaurant in Atlanta where the axe handles that made him famous were given out.

President Nixon Inaugual Parade Seal
Submitted by Bill:
I was a Sergeant on the Metropolitan Police Department in 1973 during President Nixon's and VP Agnew's inaugural parade. After the parade, an official with DC Department of Public Works gave me one of the presidential seals that had been posted on some light poles near the White House. It is shaped like a police badge measuring about 24 inches wide and 24 inches high. The year is printed below the eagle 1973. It was posted on a light pole on the southeast corner of 17th and Pennsylvania Avenues, N.W.

Kennedy Cup and Saucer
Submitted by Linda:
Can you help me identify this cup and saucer? Family story is that it came from JF Kennedy dinner in Los Angeles where close family friend, now deceased, was a chef. I used Google to find out there was a fund raising dinner in June 1993 in Los Angeles. "Six month before the assassination, President Kennedy attends a Democratic Party fund-raising dinner for 150 members of the President's Club of Los Angeles. President Kennedy addresses a breakfast with Democratic State Committeewomen of California at the Hollywood Palladium.”

Ronald Reagan Convention Medallion
Submitted by Larry:
I recently came into possession of a bronze commemorative medallion from the 1980 GOP Convention in Detroit Michigan sponsored by Cadillac depicting the renaissance center on one side and an Oak Tree from the First GOP Convention 1854 Jackson Michigan on the other. It came in a Blue bag with Gold draw string and a slip of paper stating "Cadillac welcomes you to Detroit Michigan USA". I am not interested in getting rid of it but I cannot find anything anywhere giving any idea of its value. I want to make sure that it is properly insured and valued. Any states on how many were made and distributed would be helpful as well. This was as we all know the convention Ronald Wilson Reagan was Nominated.

John F Kennedy Inaugural Address Book
Submitted by Sandra:
I found an interesting book in my late mothers belongings. It is a hardcover book with Kennedy's inaugural address. The book is white, on the spine embossed in gold is "INAUGURAL ADDRESS OF JOHN F. KENNEDY JANUARY 20, 1961". On the cover embossed in gold is the Presidential seal. Inside is simply the text of the speech. The book is in a hardcover sleeve that is also white and has the Presidential Seal embossed in gold on the front. It measures 7"x10". There are no other markings that would indicate a publisher or copyright.
I have attached some pictures of it.
Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated.
