Franklin Roosevelt Belgium Memorial Piece
I have a woven portrait of FDR that was issued on the occasion of the liberation of Belgium. This piece served a dual purpose, both as a celebratory item for the liberation, as well as an FDR memorial piece. It was woven by a Belgian concern (Edmond Meert, 1869-1961) in appreciation and “Presented as a tribute of thankfulness to their American friends.” These words are woven into the bottom of the portrait. The dates sewn into the piece are 1932-1945 (the year of his death), as well as the black band in the upper corner for the memorial piece. (Please see the attached photo)

1937 Brazilian Rubber Trees Rubber Ball Given To Franklin Roosevelt
Submitted by Gary:
This large rubber ball was given to my friends Dad from the President of the USA in 1937. It was a gift that the president of Brazil gave president Roosevelt. Pics Attached , not sure what the writing means. He wants to sell it, I told him I would advertise it for him. Can you tell me what it is worth. The ball measures 24 inches long and 12 inches high. It was made from the Brazilian Rubber Trees.
Blessings,
Gary
